What We Offer

All are welcome: the local community, school children and teachers, tourists, the general public, government and
non-government institutions and private corporations. Visitors can come for the day or stay overnight to take part in the programmes and activities. Casual walk in visitors are also welcome.
A variety of formal and non-formal approaches are employed to make the Centre's education programmes interesting, meaningful and fun. These include fieldwork,sensory awareness activities, simulations, games, talks, discussions and audio-visual presentations.

THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT

Includes plant studies, insect studies, transects studies, soil studies, astronomy and star
gazing, pond and stream studies, bird watchin and guided walk.

THE HUMAN ENVIRONMENT

Offers activities such as arts and craft, human settlement studies, recycling, orienteering, camping, the blind trail and nature treasure hunt.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERNS

The Fraser's Hill Nature Education Centre, located in the majestic main range, is rich in flora and fauna to provide some education on basic ecology to students and the community. Realising the increasing threats to our higher montane environment , support for environmental protection is the main concern of our centre.

ACTIONS TO CARE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

Several indoor and outdoor environmental activities has been designed to create awreness among participants and visitors who come to the centre.
